Acknowledge God

Whatever we trust to the world for, it will last only for a moment; but those who trust in God shall not only find in him, but shall receive from him, strength that will carry them to that blessedness which is for ever. Let us then acknowledge him in all our ways, and rely on him in all trials.

Holy Scriptures: Ephesians 3:20-21

Continued from yesterday’s post . . . This verse says sooooooo much! 

“Immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” is a HUGE statement!  Do you know anyone that can do “immeasurably more than all we (you or I) ask or imagine?” 

Then the part that says “according to His power that is at work within us,” says so much ALSO!  Could anyone know HOW MUCH “His power” is?

And to think that He allows that POWER “to work within us” is AMAZING!

And then “to Him be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus” we say Hallelujah, Amen,  . . . 

And to think that God allows His promise throughout ALL GENERATIONS is beyond INCREDIBLE!  AND WE SAY Hallelujah, AMEN, AND THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, OUR INDESCRIBABLE GOD !!!!!!!!

We Cannot Measure “immeasurably.”

20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!  Amen.

EPHESIANS 3:20 AND 21

Jesus offers rest for your souls . . .

28. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jesus calls to all who have troubles in this world and offers us all rest.  Believe that He is the Son of God and learn about who Jesus is by reading the Bible.  My Pastor always says to start reading in the Gospel of Mark because it is the shortest Gospel (Matthew, Luke and John are longer)!  Ask God to find someone who will read it with you.  Jesus promises to give your soul rest from guilt and shame.   For Jesus has done it all by dying on the cross, and rising again from the grave after three days as predicted back in the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament, so that we can have forgiveness of all our sins and  look forward to eternal life with him for 10,000 years and forever more!  And not only that, which is so huge in itself, but also we get to have His presence in our lives on this earth as we live and trust Him.

Will you all please consider this?   . . . I accepted Him as my Savior years ago, and he has changed my life so much.  He broke me of my addiction to alcohol and gambling and a furious life style that was getting worse and worse every day to the point that I was almost killed or worse!  It’s not that you won’t have bad times.  I’ll be honest; there will be bad times, but it will be different the next time as you call upon the name of “Jesus” you will know that Jesus is walking with you through it.  It really makes a big difference knowing that the God of the entire Universe cares for us and loves us.  He only asks that we let Him into our daily lives.

Whoever is Not Against Us Is for Us

Mark 9:

38. “Teacher,” said John, “we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”

39. “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40. for whoever is not against us is for us. 41. I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in My name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.

No matter what anyone does in the name of Jesus,

He honors them,

because we/they belong to Him!
